Tofu

In Poetry on April 11, 2012 at 11:21 pm

A bored minimalist
Has nothing left
To relieve the dull.
You throw away frivolity,
And where then find you novelty?
In the carbon dust of staple eats?
In the neutral tones of water over beer?
In the sore back and sorry dreams of an austere mattress?
A bored minimalist
Is principal stuck
With tofu
