A Neural Romantic

In Poetry on April 11, 2012 at 7:10 pm

The programmable lad
Lives for the circuit-play
And the impulsive drives
Of electric exchange
When a women plugs
A kiss into his current
Pathways and tweaks
The firing threshold
Of his organic relays,
Muddling each synapse
With chemical noise
That crashes function
And feels so blissfully
Lacking in algorithm,
That’s how love strains
A neural romantic
